My little FTG flavoured tribute to my local rugby team, the Crusaders, who last weekend won the Super Rugby competition for a record eighth time. They beat the Johannesburg based Lions 25-17 in an exciting final in Jo'burg. In doing so they became the first Super Rugby team to travel to South Africa and win the title.
My tribute is formed by reenacting their long trip home to Christchurch with a couple real-life of shots from the stadium and one on arrival.
From Ellis Park after the final whistle.
Crusaders coach Scott (Razor) Robertson celebrating becoming the first to win a Super Rugby title both as a player and a coach in his own distinctive style.

The next day, some seriously hung-over players made there way to join QF64 for Sydney...
Guess who forgot to hide the ATC panel?
The team then transferred onto QF139 for the final leg back to CHC...
Despite arriving at such a late hour there was still a rapturous welcome for the team by around a thousand fans in the arrivals area at CHC...
Next it's time for the All Blacks, Jaguares, Springboks and Wallabies to go head to head in the Southern Hemisphere Rugby Championship.
